Cushman Colonial Creations is a line of colonial-style furniture produced by the H.T. Cushman Manufacturing Company in North Bennington, Vermont, beginning in 1933. The line was designed by Herman DeVries, a long-time employee of the company, to appeal to modern tastes and was inspired by the Colonial Revival movement of the late 1800s. Cushman Colonial Creations furniture is known for its reddish maple color, rounded edges, turned wooden legs, solid hardwood construction, and traditional American craftsmanship. The line was the company's trademark for three decades and helped revitalize sales over the next 25 years
