James Koukos (1926-2006) Born and raised in New York, New York where in the 1950's Koukos later attended the Art Students League. His paintings have been exhibited at The Smithsonian and Corcoran Museum of Art, Washington D.C. While working for the Navy Department in a civil capacity he created the iconic logo for the first SEALAB. An animator for Hanna Barbara and Filmation his art has appeared in the following cartoon T.V. shows: Star Trek- 1973-1974 Mission Magic 1972-1973 Lassie's Recue Rangers 1972-1973
