Incredible collection of original artwork created by the son of the famed actor & former Los Osos resident, Robert Osterloh Jr.
Born in Hollywood, California, and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Robert has painted and drawn for as long as he can remember. While at Van Nuys High School he was featured in a story by the LA Times for his achievements. While attending college Robert was offered an all expense paid tour of Southeast Asia by Uncle Sam. After his discharge from the military he had a series of fine art posters published and started showing his work in local galleries. Later he worked for several companies designing decorator pieces. While doing this he worked with a variety of subject matters and experienced different styles and mediums. During this time he acquired an interest in the American Old West, and Native Americans in particular. After moving to San Luis Obispo County in 1981 Robert decided it was time to devote all of his time to his art. Painted in a realistic style, Robert does landscapes, still life's, but his main focus is portraits. His work was seen for many years in Earth Spirit gallery all the way to Australia.
